En route to a tropical paradise, overworked and dedicated Aimee Myller is ready to begin her new life. But when the plane defects, the pilot, sexy Tristan Bress, needs to make an emergency landing in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
With no way to reach civilisation, being rescued is their only hope. A slim one that withers away, desperation taking its place. Because death wanders in the jungle under many forms: starvation, disease, and fangs of beasts.

Forced to fend for themselves, Tristan and Aimee begin to forage for food and shelter. As they fight for survival, they grow closer. Despite knowing he's off limits, Aimee can't deny her attraction to Tristan.

Tristan knows Aimee is the one woman he can't have. But how can he fight love when she's slowly becoming everything to him?

*This read is recommended for 18+ due to romance and sex and mature themes.*

  • Should be a movie!

    By Aforgey
This has a fast paced, original storyline. I couldn’t put it down. The characters are complex and realistic. That combined with the unusual circumstances they are put in, make for a great read!
  • Different but raw and beautiful

A beautiful story about survival and deep love - not the common theme of reunions or the tough guy saving the damsel in distress although Tristan does save Aimee and himself with his military and survival training. Read it - it touched me.
  • Heart Warming and Heart Breaking

I’ve never cried so long after reading a novel than I did this one. They were tears of joy and tears of sadness, but none the less, it was a very special book.
  • Sad book

    By ClaudiaS1234
It’s been a while since a book made me teary eyed. I felt the book was slow to start but it picked up. I found myself turning the pages, and I wanted to know that these 2 poor souls would be ok. It does have a happy ending of some sorts, but it reminded me of the notebook. I am not a fan of sad sappy stories. I wouldn’t read the book again, but it was a good book to pass away a few hours.

I must confess, at the beginning I wasn't sure I would be able to look pass the whole cheating thing, but you know what? The book is beautiful anyways. It was nicely written and Aimme and Tristan's romance had me sighing at every page turned. Great work!
