These choices, and the information you need to make these powerful choices, are clearly presented in this book.

For example, in Chapter 2 you will learn easy and fun baby care practices highly recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics that are known to give you a smarter, healthier, and happier baby. In Chapter 5 you will learn how to make baby care choices with confidence, knowing you are teaching your baby to become independent, self-confident, optimistic, and trusting of self and others. This book will calm your nerves about having a newborn baby and prepare you for everything you need to be aware of in the first month of being a parent. There were tons of details I would have missed if I didn't read this book. The author gives practical, no-nonsense advice that comes from being a baby nurse, in a loving and nurturing way that comes from being a mother. I also found the video instruction to be especially helpful and a great addition to the text. If you are pregnant, you should read this book!

I found this book to be clear and to the point. She explained the basic things to know including any medical terms in an easy to understand way. The videos in the book go beyond what all the other books can offer and they help you learn a lot quickly and not be afraid. I highly recommend you get it before you have your baby and then just use it as a reference after.
