Description

I got what I wanted.

Got what I paid for.

But once Monroe starts dating a handsome billionaire, I can't stand it.

It drives me crazy.

I decide it's too much to handle.

I arrive at her door and demand another chance.

But I'm not sure if she'll give me one.

This book was an quick read but mostly boring and predictable. Characters felt flat and underdeveloped. Just another rich man saves young girl romance. But it had its moments. Can’t say that I’m interested enough to read the second book. The story felt rushed.

It had a lot of mix emotions. And when Slate proposed made me cry with happiness. Still want to know about Coed and Simone court battles. Also when did he meet Emily.

Ok so I loved this one a little better than the first one but I felt like it was missing something. It seemed rushed into one book versus how Ms. Quinn writes her other series. I loved the characters but as I said in my last review I felt more interested in Coen and Simone than I did in Slate and Monroe. I would have loved for the book to have ended when Slate was shot and then picked up in a third one with a little bit more detail. Overall it was still a good read and I look forward to her next one.

What a ride this book is. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love even more when Slate shows up on Monroe's door step. And I fell in love even deeper with his proposal. Great story!

I had been waiting weeks for the second book to continue reading. Too many unexpected outcomes but it was awesome! Kept wanting to more after I was done. Well written and it does take you on an emotional rollercoaster. I loved the characters and story line. My only complaint is that I wanted a 3rd book. Lol.

This book is filled with so many events that you can’t stop reading. I figured before that the documents on the new property, that Slate managed to sneak in a prenup secretly. Marital bliss is even shorter than planned. After Monroe’s apartment was broken into. Everything down to her clothes were stolen so she moves in with Slate. He eventually buys her her dream condo she wanted just a few blocks from him. From obvious love, devotion, and happiness more challenges await. Does Slates past of being the Cherry Popper get revealed, who gets shot and do they live. You will have to read this epic hit to find out Excellent job Victoria

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions, but played out in the most amazing way! I love Slate and Monroe’s story and how it all unfolded. You don’t just get their love story, but a failed marriage and a repaired relationship with a huge twist! Such a great book!!!
  • Predictably Perfect 🖤

This book, as my title says, is predictably perfect! You see a rough marriage end, new friendships form and the main relationship in the story bloom into something imperfectly perfect. I love the laughter, hate, love, and anger and you feel every single one of these emotions as you read. This sequel was a great ending to Slate and Monroe’s story!
